Firstly thanks were recorded to our main sponsors Double D Construction for their support for the club, and the behind the scenes volunteers, including the catering staff, Micky White for the continued best playing areas in the league, and the supporters.
Swans first XV captain Robert Elford made special mention of centre Phil Graves who played in every one of Swans game this past season scoring 211pts and top try scorer, winger Charlie Rowberry with 11 tries for the season.
Player of the Year went to 2nd row David Burgess for his immense ability around the park and attitude to the game. Clubman of the Year went to Dominic Smith, who started out as 3rd XV captain, but due to Swans 1st XV half back injury problems played a prominent role as Swans lost only two games since Christmas. The overall Clubman of the Year went to Fixtures Secretary John Constable, who is also very prominent on important committees in Dorset/Wilts.

Sad News |

Julian Hardy:
The Club has been deeply saddened by the death of Julian Hardy on Saturday last. Apart from being Assistant Bar Chairman Julian was a tireless worker for the Club and always available in emergencies to do the jobs that were not always popular and certainly not glamorous. His contribution was such that he was Clubman of the Year in 2005/6. The Club sends its deepest sympathies to Diane, Lee and Kerry.
The funeral will take place at Lady St. Mary's on Thursday 25 January at 2.15 pm. The Clubhouse will be open after the service.
No flowers please but donations can be sent to Albert Marsh, Funeral Director to be split between the Club and the Dyspraxia Foundation.
