​​Swans welcomed Wimborne 2nd XV to Bestwall last Saturday, and after the first few minutes Swans managed to run in ten tries to complete a substantial victory.
​​A couple of penalties took Swans into the Wimborne 5 metres line and from the line out Swans hooker Craig Foskett went in for Swans first try after 7 minutes. This was followed by centre Barnaby Knibb splitting the visitors defence after 17 minutes to make the score 12 -0 Knibb splitting themaking the score visitors defence after 17 minutes to make the score 12 -0 with fly half Steve Woolley adding the extras. It was Woolley’s turn ten minutes later as he went in for Swans third try as he went in for Swans third try out wide. As Swans continued on the offensive it was just a matter of time before the bonus point try came, and once again it was Steve Woolley who crossed the line just before the break. He added the conversion making the half time score Swans 24pts Wimborne 2nd 0pts.
​​Swans added to the score as after 43 minutes Steve Woolley went in for his hat trick of he p which he converted (31pts – 0pts).Three minutes later a move along Swans three-quarters enabled winger Lee Hardy running round to score under the posts. Woolley added the extras(38pts – nil).After 50 minutes Swans other winger Harry Spyers dived over in the corner to take the score to 43pts.. Towards the hour mark Swans scrum half Chris Tomes worked his way over the line from a scrum in the Wimborne 22(48pts – nil). The next to score was flanker Luke Robinson after 72 minutes who scored half way out down the left to make the half century(53pts – nil) . Swans no.8 Kirk Jones rounded off Swans scoring with two minutes to go, as powered over the line. In the last minute a couple of penalties to Wimborne took them into Swans 22 and Wimborne scored ​a consolation try close to the posts making the final score Swans 58pts – 7pts
