The hosts in the first ten minutes put Swans on the defensive, and Swans could not get the ball, but Supermarine never looked like scoring. Full back Callum Baird added the extras as Swans were without fly half Charlie Parish. Baird added the extras( 0pts – 14 pts). Swans pack were winning the ball at will, and on 30 minutes, another scrum close to the hosts try line had second row debutant, Jack Hogg scoring his first try for Swans. Supermarine started the second half like the first, but Swans easily contained them and on 48 minutes from a scrum Swans passed the ball along the three-quarters to Callum Baird coming into the line to score out wide. Ten minutes later the visitors were on the scoreboard again from a push over try scored by captain and hooker Robert Elford. Baird converted(0pts – 33pts) . Swans were starting to throw the ball out wide now, and on 73 minutes centre Matt Roberts outflanked the defence to score his second try to bring up the 50pts margin. Two minutes from the end another three-quarters move once again had Todd Stevens coming through to score his second converted try, leaving the final score Supermarine 0pts Swanage & Wareham 57pts. Swans manager Tom Dillon said” With all the problems with injuries and unavailabilities in the squad I am justly proud of the lads that turned out, all of the debutants performed exceedingly well as the tries that they scored demonstrate.
