Wide game proves too much for Wimborne in 17-57 win
Swans Colts continue winning start with convincing win at Leigh Park.
Wimborne kicked off to a sleepy Swans team who let the ball bounce through on the ground having to settle for a defensive lineout, a wakeup call to the forwards. They took note at some strong words from the sideline and from that moment on gave the best performance that coach Mark Woolley said "was the best of any colts side he had ever seen play at the club"
The forwards fronted up to the opposition for the whole game not letting them take any advantage at the breakdown and delivered the ball on a plate to Logan who gave fast ball out to the backs. This is where the damage was done, using Finn on the short ball and both center's running great lines, practice on the training pitch gave its dividends. The pace was fast as were the back three always looking for the try whoever was on from the squad of 20.
Wimborne did grab some points into the back end of the second half when swans lost some shape with all of the squad rotated.
It would be wrong to pick out any individuals, every one played their part in the win but many made massive improvements on their previous best. Well done boys.
